The military sport of the Bahrain Defense Force received supreme patronage from His Majesty the King of the country, the Supreme Commander, may God protect him and his patronage, and with the directives and follow-up of His Excellency Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, where His Excellency affirmed that the Bahrain Defense Force secures The importance of military sports, which ensures the maintenance of the level of physical fitness of its members.

The Defense Force has been organizing various sporting events and has developed development plans for the preparation of military sports teams and teams, in addition to setting up training camps for military teams and intensifying participation in external competitions at the internal and external levels  .

The Defense Force was keen to provide sports facilities and all auxiliary conditions, in addition to providing all modern equipment and means in this field.

The military sports of the Bahrain Defense Force achieved advanced positions in many world championships. For example, but not limited to, the military teams of the Bahrain Defense Force won, during their participation in many international military competitions, 29 gold medals, including the gold in football competitions at the Seventh Military World Games 2019 in the People's Republic of China. In addition, the Bahrain Defense Force athletes achieved a historic achievement in the Olympic Games by winning two gold and one silver medal.
