Lieutenant-General Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), met Daniel Shapiro, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defence for the Middle East.

Lieutenant-General Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, Lieutenant-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al Noaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, and Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the BDF, were present.

The BDF Commander-in-Chief highlighted the advanced Bahrain-US relations and joint military cooperation.
