تفضل حضرة صاحب الجلالة الملك حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة ملك البلاد المعظم القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة حفظه الله ورعاه بزيارة القيادة العامة لقوة دفاع البحرين هذا اليوم ، فلدى وصول جلالته كان في الاستقبال صاحب المعالي المشير الركن الشيخ خليفة بن أحمد آل خليفة القائد العام لقوة دفاع البحرين ، والفريق الركن سمو الشيخ ناصر بن حمد آل خليفة مستشار الأمن الوطني قائد الحرس الملكي، والعقيد الركن سمو الشيخ خالد بن حمد آل خليفة قائد قوة الحرس الملكي الخاصة، كما كان في الاستقبال سعادة الفريق الركن عبدالله بن حسن النعيمي وزير شئون الدفاع، وسعادة الفريق الركن ذياب بن صقر النعيمي رئيس هيئة الأركان.

وقد رفع كبار الضباط خالص تعازيهم لجلالة الملك المعظم القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة حفظه الله لاستشهاد ضابط وفرد من قوة الواجب التابعة لقوة دفاع البحرين خلال تأديتهما للواجب الوطني المشرف للدفاع عن الحدود الجنوبية للمملكة العربية السعودية الشقيقة ضمن قوات التحالف العربي في عمليات عاصفة الحزم وإعادة الأمل ، دفاعًا عن أمن وسيادة أوطاننا ومد يد العون والإغاثة الإنسانية للأشقاء ، وقد أكد أيده الله أن رجال قوة الدفاع سطروا أروع معاني البطولة والولاء الصادق سيرًا على نهج الآباء والأجداد الكرام، الذين على مآثرهم شيدنا مسيرتنا الحضارية الظافرة، شاكرًا جلالة الملك المعظم المواقف الأخوية للدول الشقيقة والصديقة وتعازيهم الصادقة وتضامنهم مع إخوانهم في مملكة البحرين ، ضد هذا العمل الإجرامي الغادر،  سائلاً الله عز وجل أن يتغمد الشهيدين بواسع رحمته، وأن يسكنهما فسيح جناته مع الشهداء والصديقين، وأن يلهم ذويهم الصبر والسلوان ، وأن يمن الله تعالى بالشفاء العاجل على الجرحى والمصابين.

معربًا جلالته حفظه الله عن تقديره واعتزازه بكافة منتسبي قوة دفاع البحرين الشجعان وحرصهم الدائم على حمل الأمانة بكل إخلاص وبما يقومون به من واجبات وطنية سامية بشجاعة وعزيمة صادقة .

وتمت الإشارة خلال الاجتماع إلى إنه إذا كان الحوثيون يستنكرون من قام بهذا العمل الإجرامي الغادر خلال سريان الهدنة الأممية، فمن الواجب عليهم القبض عليهم وتسليمهم لنا أو للتحالف العربي ليأخذ القانون مجراه بحقهم، وعليهم مراعاة مصالح الجمهورية اليمنية الشقيقة في المنطقة.

وأشاد جلالته بالإجراءات والخدمات التي قامت بها قوة دفاع البحرين في هذا الوقت، وما قدمته فيما يتعلق بنقل الشهداء والمصابين إلى أرض الوطن، كما أثنى حفظه الله على دور الخدمات الطبية الملكية في علاج المصابين وتقديم الرعاية الطبية ومتابعتهم.

HM King, Supreme Commander of Armed Forces visits BDF General Command

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, today visited the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).

Upon arrival, HM the King was welcomed by Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the BDF Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Commander of the Royal Guard’s Special Force, Lieutenant-General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs and senior BDF staff.

The senior officers extended their sincere condolences to HM the King, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, over the loss of the fallen servicemen while performing their duty in defending the southern borders of Saudi Arabia as part of the Arab Coalition forces participating in Operation Decisive Storm and Restoring Hope.

HM King Hamad confirmed that the fallen servicemen demonstrated the most profound example of heroism and loyalty, following the path of honourable ancestors, expressing appreciation to countries which have extended their condolences and affirmed solidarity against this act of aggression.

HM the King prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the souls of the two fallen servicemen in eternal peace, grant their families patience and solace and the injured a speedy recovery.

HM the King expressed his appreciation for and pride in all the brave members of the BDF for their constant keenness to carry out their lofty national duties with courage and sincere determination.

During the meeting, it was pointed out that if the Houthis denounced those behind the act of aggression during the ongoing United Nations truce, then they must arrest them and hand them over to Bahrain or the Arab Coalition so that the necessary legal action would be taken against them.

His Majesty commended the BDF’s procedures and services to repatriate the bodies of the fallen servicemen and the injured. He also praised the role of the Royal Medical Services in providing medical care for the injured.
